The story is based on A mother concerned about her young son’s disturbing behavior who thinks something supernatural may be affecting him.
In the beginning, we saw a girl named Margaret running away through a jungle. She came to a road at the end of the jungle and a woman with her car was driving on that road. Margaret begged for help from the woman and told her “He took my hand.” That scene ended here.
After that scene, we saw a home in Pennsylvania where a couple lived; a husband named John and his wife Sarah. Sarah was pregnant and she was feeling labor pain. So, they went to the hospital.
In the next scene, we saw a serial killer in Ohio named Edward. He incarcerates girls and kills them. He used to gather the hands of dead bodies. That time he incarcerated Margat but he saw Margat was not there.
Margat went to the police station and told the cops everything. Then the police went to Edward`s place. When the cops entered the area, Edward came out with a hand of Margat he cut. Police thought Edward had a gun in the back and shot him on the spot.
After that, we saw Sarah give birth to a child and set his name, Miles. The matter of surprise was that Miles had the same spot on his body as Edward had. As time went by, Sarah and John noticed several surprising things about Miles. Such as, Miles never cries. Miles had heterochromia (color differences of the iris).
At the age of 8, one day Sarah and John went outside for quality time. Miles was with his babysitter Joe. They were playing hide-and-seek. During the game, Miles intentionally kept a piece of glass on the floor. By this Joe got wounded on her foot and seems that that was a matter of joy to miles. When Sarah asked him about this he said he couldn’t remember anything. At midnight, Sarah noticed that Miles was saying bad words and the Hungarian language in the dream.

The next day, in the school, Miles beat a boy with a hammer. For this unusual behavior, Saaraah took Miles to a psychiatrist. Miles seems normal with the psychiatrist. But Sarah gave the tape recorder of Miles talking when he was dreaming in sleep to the doctor.
The doctor and Sarah went to a senior psychiatrist named Author. Arthur told them that the language Miles said in Hungarian was known by only 40,000 people around the world and the bad words were related to the killing of women. Then Aurther indirectly meant reincarnation. But the problem was, a single body can’t have two or more souls. At any time, Miles`s body will be taken over by that bad soul. Arthur gave Sarah a CD about reincarnation.
At night, at home, Sarah saw another person in him. But when she went close to Mile, everything was normal.
In the next scene, Miles was lending a knife. The next morning the dog pet of them was lost. When John went to look for the dog, Miles told John everyone will die one day.
After coming back home, John found a spy camera in their room which was attached by Miles. John got angry and went outside the house.
At night, Sarah saw Miles crying in the corridor. When she called Miles to her, he turned to Edward and throttled her. But that was a dream. After some time, Miles came to her and gave hug to her. Then they saw a lot of flies at the door. That was coming from the basement. Then they went to the basement and saw cardboard. Miles gave her a hammer and said that he didn’t do that. After opening the cardboard Sarah saw the dead body of the pet dog.
The next day, Sarah took Miles to Aurther. Then Aurther hypnotized him and asked him “who are you?”. The soul inside of Miles told him to not ask anything Aurther had to tell Sarah that reincarnation does not happen in real life. Otherwise, the soul will tell everyone that Miles was molested by Aurther. Aurther did what he was told to. Aurther saw the scratches on the sofa and he got word that was Edward. Aurther told Sarah that the soul inside Miles was Edward who was a serial killer. We saw Edward in the beginning. Edward had some incomplete work.
Sarah got a book by Margaret named ‘hand of Margaret’. Sarah understood everything. Edward was back to kill Margaret. On the other hand, John was taking Miles, and in the running car, Miles wound John with a knife. John was admitted to the hospital.
Then Sarah went to Margaret with Miles, by giving him a sleeping pill. Sarah took a gun with her. Sarah told a fake story to Margaret. Then Sarah pointed the gun at Margaret. But she didn’t shoot Margaret. Then suddenly Miles came inside with a knife and killed Margaret.
Then Sarah told Edward’s soul to leave miles. But the soul said Miles`s soul was gone already. Then Sarah pointed to Miles to kill him because he will do more murder if he is alive.
