House of 1000 Corpses (2003) is a dark humor horror movie written & directed by Rob Zombie. This is Rob’s debut film and he got attention by both audiences & critics. House of 1000 Corpses is the first film of the Firefly film series. At the end of the movie, there remain a lot of queries to explain for the next parts. House of 1000 Corpses Ending Explanation and Plot Story in Details

The movie opens on October 30, 1977; through a robbery at Captain Spaulding’s gas station. The robbers threatened to shoot Captain Spaulding with a gun. But Captain Spaulding looked pretty cool. Once he shot and killed robbers. He seemed to take great pleasure in the incident.
This time we see four friends. They are Jerry, Bill, Mary, and Denise. They are writing a book on the topic of roadside attractions. That’s why they go out for a night’s drive on the countryside roads.
This time they see the signboard of Captain Spaulding’s gas station. They stop there fuel the car and go inside to eat chicken.
They talk to Captain Spaulding about the book. Captain Spaulding then shows his ghost museum, The Museum of Monsters & Madmen.
Here Captain Spaulding talks about a local legend. Its name is Dr. Satan. He was a medical surgeon and worked in a hospital. But he was mentally unbalanced. He believed that by performing operations he could make patients superhuman. And for this, he was expelled from the hospital.
Later his madness increased to such an extent that the local people tied him to a tree and hanged him to death. But his body was not found the next morning. Since then, there have been reports of various ghostly activities around the tree.
Captain Spaulding informs them that the tree is a short distance from his gas station.
Everyone became interested in exploring the place and wrote down the address from Captain Spaulding.
After that everyone started to advance in that direction. A woman stranded in the middle of the rain asks for a lift to their car. And they help. This woman’s name is Baby. She said that Dr. Satan’s home is near the tree.
In the middle of the road, a strange man shoots a shotgun from the woods and punctures the car’s tire.
Baby then invites everyone to her house. By then Baby’s brother will repair the car.
Everyone reaches Baby’s house. At that place, they meet Mother Firefly, Grandpa Hugo, and Tiny. They all behaved strangely. In addition, everyone is introduced to Otis at the dinner table.
We witness Otis a while back, holding and torturing 5 girls. Missing notices airing on TV about these five cheer girls.
They say they will have a Halloween party today. At the party, Baby started flirting with Bill a lot. Which his girlfriend Mary doesn’t like at all. So a quarrel begins between Baby and Mary.
Meanwhile, their car was repaired. Therefore, guys start leaving to get out of there. But in the middle, Otis and the others get them caught and tied up, taken to the torture room.

Then we see, that all of them are being subjected to various tests through mutilation.
Among them, Dr. Satan can also appear. He is conducting terrible physical experiments on all of them.
On the other hand, Denise’s father, unable to communicate with his daughter, contacted the police. He is a former police officer. Consequently, he reaches the area and starts searching for his missing daughter and friends.
He knew everyone had gone to Captain Spaulding’s store. Therefore, he searched there.
Captain Spaulding informed him that that night they all Dr. Satan was looking for the tree. After that, he knows nothing.
He went to Mother Firefly’s house with some policemen. At that place, he discovers the dead bodies of the previously missing girls. Just as the police officer turns on the walkie-talkie to alert his superiors, Mother Firefly shoots him dead.
Denise, on the other hand, somehow escapes and comes up the street. She requests help from a coming car towards her. Captain Spaulding is seen in the car.
Denise gets into the car and falls asleep shortly after being tired. We next witness Otis getting out of the back seat of the car with a knife in hand.
After regaining consciousness, Denise finds herself lying on Dr. Satan’s operating table. Her hands and feet are tied, and Dr. Satan is leaning on her head and performing surgery. At this point, she screams in intense fear & panic and the movie ends here.
